SEREMBAN - The candidacy of Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun as Menteri Besar will be subject to discussions among all parties in the Unity Government if the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition emerges victorious in the state polls in Negeri Sembilan.

Expressing his satisfaction with Aminuddin's performance over the past five years, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that he is content with the achievements and investment attraction under his leadership.

"While we will engage in discussions, I am pleased with his performance and his ability to attract investments.

"The component parties will have discussions, but we cannot engage in them now.

"At the moment, he (Aminuddin) is considered the prominent figure as the Menteri Besar," Anwar told reporters at the Prime Minister's Mandate to Negeri Sembilan Civil Servants Ceremony held at the Seremban City Council Hall on Friday.

Meanwhile, the PH chairman said that discussions regarding seat distribution for the state election have been finalised at the leadership level of the involved parties.

"At my level, discussions with Anthony Loke Siew Fook (DAP secretary-general) and Zahid Hamidi (BN chairman) seem to have concluded, but we are leaving some room for further discussion at the state level. At my level, it is completed," he added.
