SHAH ALAM - Muda unveils its first four candidates who will be contesting in the upcoming state elections.

The first batch of candidates consists of Muda Secretary-General Amir Hadi, who will be contesting the N29 Seri Serdang Legislative Assembly.

Meanwhile, Cheda Razak is in N41 Batu Tiga, Thanusha Ramanieswaran is in N48 Sentosa, and Melanie Ting is in N19 Bukit Antarabangsa.

Its president, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, said the four candidates were among the first batch selected to represent Muda in the Selangor state elections.

He said his party will finalise the list of all candidates for the six-state state elections next week.

"We hope the people will give them the opportunity to serve so that we can move Malaysia forward," he said in a press conference announcing the Muda candidates on Thursday.

Syed Saddiq, at the same time, said Muda highlights the party's candidates are also required to declare their property assets to the public.

"Secondly, Muda, as a futuristic party, gives its commitment to nominate 50 per cent women candidates because we want to dignify the voice and representation of women in the country.
