SHAH ALAM - Three year old Pejuang's mission is to nurture and develop young leaders with the right mindset, knowledge, and motivations.

Its president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir said the current state of politics is too toxic and his party's focus is on educating the youth to do what is right.

The former Kedah menteri besar said rather than solely looking for a quick resolution, the focus is on becoming a productive "factory" that produces young leaders who will ensure the country's prosperous future.

“Become a party that produces young leaders with the right mindset. The right knowledge and the right motivations to make sure the country, prospers," he said.

He said this during Sinar Daily's Politically Frank programme.

He said Pejuang aims to set good examples for officials, showcasing the kind of services they should provide for the betterment of the nation.

“We want to show good example about what officials should perform, what kind of services they should perform," Mukhriz said.
