BAYAN LEPAS - Perikatan Nasional (PN) is confident of winning the hearts of Chinese voters in Penang, as they have seen through the dirty tactics used by Pakatan Harapan's component party, DAP.

This was revealed by PN candidate for the Bayan Lepas state seat, Datuk Dominic Lau Hoe Chai, during a walkabout in Kampung Selamat today.

"The Chinese voters now understand the dirty tactics used by DAP.

"They say that if PN wins big, Chinese people in Penang will not be able to eat pork, drink alcohol, or wear short pants. These are just lies and scare tactics," Lau said.

He added that he believes the people of Penang are now able to differentiate between right and wrong, and that DAP's propaganda will not sway them.

"The support for PN is growing, and we are confident that we will win the state elections on Aug 12," Lau said.

He also said that a win for PN would be a referendum on the people's dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"Since general elections, Anwar has not been able to deliver on his promises. He has also failed to address the problems of the ringgit and the economy," Lau said.
