According to Transport Minister Anthony Loke, this information is based on initial observations by authorities,
However, he mentioned that the actual cause of the incident is still under investigation, and the search mission for the plane's black box is being actively conducted.
"Based on preliminary observations, the aircraft was found to have veered to the right from the landing path.
"The plane had been granted permission to land, but three minutes later, the control tower (Subang Airport) noticed smoke rising from the crash site," he said in a press conference here today.
He added that the flight investigation unit is being activated at the crash site, thus the public is advised not to engage in any speculation.
Meanwhile, Selangor Police Chief confirmed that the victims’ remains were not in perfect conditions due to the impact.
At least 10 victims have been confirmed to have perished in the crash of the private plane.
The victims consist of eight passengers and crew members, along with two civilians, a motorcyclist, and a car driver.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) confirmed that no distress calls or 'Mayday' messages were received.
The aircraft in question took off from Langkawi International Airport at 2.08 p.m and was granted permission to land at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, but it crashed two minutes before landing.
