Kelantan MB to announce full list of exco on Wednesday
KOTA BHARU - Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud has confirmed that the full list of the Kelantan State Executive Council (exco) will be announced on Wednesday.
He said the list will be confirmed in the first meeting of the exco on Wednesday, and will be announced in a press conference afterwards.
Nassuruddin was speaking to reporters after handing out aid to storm victims at Al-Fattah Mosque in Mukim Kota today.
In a previous interview with Sinar, Nassuruddin had hinted that there may be some changes to the Kelantan government exco portfolio.
He said he would announce the changes soon.
Sinar had also reported that a total of five new faces who won in the state elections would be appointed as Kelantan government exco on Tuesday.
Those individuals were Rohani Ibrahim (Tanjong Mas), Mohd Asri Mat Daud (Demit), Zamakhshari Mohamad (Apam Putra), Hilmi Abdullah (Guchil), and Datuk Kamaruddin Md Noor (Air Lanas).
Bersatu, which is Pas's partner in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, will also have a representative in the Kelantan Government Exco for the first time. The party's chairman, Datuk Kamaruddin Md Noor, will be appointed as an exco member.
The five previous excos will be retained, namely Mejar (B) Datuk Md Anizam Ab Rahman, Datuk Dr Izani Husin, Tuan Saripuddin Tuan Ismail, and Wan Roslan Wan Hamat.
