KUALA SELANGOR - Sinar Harian (Digital) Executive Director Ruzy Adila Idris is among the 1,309 graduates celebrated in the Universiti Selangor (Unisel) Convocation in the Bestari Jaya Campus, here, on Saturday.

Ruzy Adila was handed her Education (Disciplinary Management) Master’s degree from Unisel Chancellor Tan Sri Arshad Alhaj raja Tun Uda Alhaj.

She stated her deep interest in education prompted her to resume her studies at the university which also offered the Karangkraf Scholarship sponsorship.

“Unisel provides studies in the education field which is a branch I’ve long wanted to explore,” she said after the convocation.

Ruzy Adila said throughout her studies in Unisel she met many friends from different backgrounds.

“I was able to explore a variety of new knowledge and I hope to be able to continue my studies at a doctorate level,” she said.

She added she was thankful for the support of family members and colleagues as she finally managed to complete her studies.

“Without their support I would not be able to be as successful as I am today.

“I would like to thank my friends who understood and gave me room to attend classes and lecturers and those who aided me throughout my studies here,” she added.

Ruzy Adila took the opportunity to advise the youth to continue working hard and to achieve success in the Education field.

“The factor of age was not a barrier for an individual to succeed in universities and to continue studying untilyou reached the highest level.

“My advice to students, become a knowledgeable and have morals no matter what career you choose,” she added.

1,306 graduates were present for the convocation encompassing 582 graduates at the diploma level, 670 graduates at the bachelor's degree level, 36 graduates at the master’s degree level and 18 doctorate graduates.

The convocation is taking place this weekend.
