KUANTAN - A motorcyclist dies after being pinned under a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in an accident at Jalan Pintasan Kuantan here on Thursday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.59am while the MPV driver was safe.
Pahang Malaysia Fire and Rescue Services Department (JBPM) Public Relations Officer Zulfadli Zakaria said eight personnel including officers from the Indera Mahkota Fire Station were deployed to the scene.
“Firemen used airbags to lift the MPV before removing the victim’s body.
“The victim was handed to the police for further actions,” he said.
