AL-ARISH - The Rafah crossing on Gaza's southern border with Egypt has been closed until further notice, an Egyptian security source told German news agency (dpa).

Israel's strikes on Gaza are making it dangerous for both civilians and employees at the crossing, the source said, adding that there was a state of alert along the border to stop any infiltration attempts. - BERNAMA-dpa
