MCA is down to work with DAP, says its youth leader

JOHOR BAHRU - MCA is ready to work with any party including DAP especially when it involves issues concerning the people.
According to its youth leader, Ling Tian Soon, the concerns of the people are, in fact, always the party's first priority, and that. the party would be willing to work with any party as long as it was a beneficial for the people.
"If working together means we can solve the problems of those in need and we are able to bring our nation forward why not?
"We will always put the people first," he told reporters on Tuesday.
In the present era of the Unity Government, Ling said MCA needs to rise up and work together with other coalition parties in the government.
He added that MCA also needs to be open and be able to work with anyone.
"We used to be underneath the umbrella of BN, but presently within the banner of the unity government, we need to be able to work with anyone," he said.
Ling added MCA would continue to support the government should there be a cabinet reshuffle.
"We (MCA) would not ask to be in the cabinet, we are not going to ask, but we will continue to support the unity government in its efforts to steer the nation forward,"he said.
