SHAH ALAM - Pas Youth chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden has expressed his heartfelt appreciation towards Pas's influencers and TikTokers.

He said these key opinion leaders (KOL) from the younger generation, had played an important role in encouraging young voters to vote for Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the 15th general election (GE15).

Afnan Hamimi, who is also the Alor Setar MP, said Pas TikTokers had passionately advocated for their cause, driven by a genuine commitment to their ideals rather than seeking any financial gain or acting on external directives.

“It is clear that these individuals fought for the cause with sincerity; in fact, the Pas's TikTokers contributed significantly to the party's electoral victories.

“They were motivated by their dedication to the cause rather than material rewards. Their intentions, he noted, were purely to seek Allah's approval,” he said.

In a bid to further engage young voters and promote political education beyond Pas's immediate sphere, Pas Youth has expressed its willingness to provide training and political education to youth who are not formally associated with the party.

He added that Pas Youth was also open to appointing a number of female members to Pas Youth's Central Committee.

“Recognizing the importance of engaging younger voters, Pas Youth is actively pursuing strategies to connect with this demographic.

“We have also called upon all party organisations to establish policies that shed light on their operations and to encourage members at all levels to involve young individuals in understanding the party's mission and values,” he said.
