SHAH ALAM - Despite facing insults and challenges, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Armada (Youth) remains relevant, says its chief Wan Ahmad Fayshal Wan Ahmad Kamal.

He said there were constant backdrops of tragedy, this year, but the Youth wing remained proactive in addresssing the future challenges.

"Even though we have been insulted, our relevance persists," he said in his speech at the Bersatu Armada General Assembly 2023 held at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC), here, today.

He also pointed out that crisis like the one in Myanmar among others, signified failures in unity.

"Despite being independent in name, the hearts and minds of the people remain colonised," he said.

He also shared the finding from a Merdeka Centre survey indicating that 60 per cent of the respondents believed that the country was heading in the wrong direction.

"This indicates a lack of trust in the unity government and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim," he said.

He also highlighted the rising cost of living, with expensive food prices and even queues for local rice.
