KUALA LUMPUR - The registration and claim for eMadani, the one-off e-wallet credit of RM100 will open from Monday, Dec 4 to Feb 20 next year, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar, who is also Finance Minister said the eMadani initiative will benefit 10 million eligible adult Malaysians, involving an allocation of RM1 billion.

He said this when tabling the Supply Bill 2024 for the second reading at the Dewan Negara today.

The RM100 e-wallet credit which is offered to all Malaysians aged 21 and above within the B40 and M40 groups, was announced by Anwar during the launch of the Madani Economy: Empowering the People framework on July 27. - BERNAMA
