KAJANG - The report filed by the Community Communication Department (J-Kom) Assistant Officer Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani, at the Kajang district police headquarters today aims to reveal the identity of an individual referred to as 'Mr H'.

Wahab's lawyer, Faizal Abd Rahman, said that the report alleges Mr H as the key orchestrator in spreading explicit video recordings.

These recordings involve the former J-Kom Director-General Datuk Mohammad Agus Yusoff, and Wahab himself.

"Wahab has cooperated fully, providing videos and crucial details," Faizal said.

He highlighted that today's investigation was more extensive than yesterday's session at Federal Police headquarters, where Wahab was a witness.

This time, he appeared as the complainant.

Faizal said the police statement on Nov 17 and the media briefing's content were consistent.

However, he noted that the police investigation is broader in scope.

Responding to queries about submitting the investigation papers to the Attorney General's Office, Faizal expressed his satisfaction with the police's swift progress.

"The investigation has been efficient, and there seems to be no reason for further delays.

"Based on the facts, it's clear that Mr H is the central figure in this crisis," he added.

However, Faizal clarified that details about Mr H's identity could not be publicly disclosed until the Attorney General's Office reviews the case.

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed earlier today that the investigation involving Agus and Abdul Wahab is complete.

A total of eight witnesses have been called for statements.

The investigation, led by the Federal Police' Elite Crime Investigation Unit (USJT) is scheduled for submission to the Attorney General's Office tomorrow.

Previously, Wahab had disclosed in a media briefing that the conversation recordings between him and Agus were masterminded by Mr H.

The ongoing case concerning the misuse of network facilities or services is being investigated under Section 500 of the Penal Code for defamation and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
