Erin Adlina reflects on her mother's influence in shaping her success

For financial and wealth planner cum influencer Erin Adlina Adnan, the influence of her mother’s words of wisdom have been the cornerstone of her journey, shaping her into the woman she is today.
At a recent special photoshoot where Erin was joined by her mother Zaidah Zainal (aka Mama), she shares some of the valuable advice she passed down to Erin.
"Always invest in your future," the mother said. In order to do that, she said that it is important to be able to visualise one's future and know where one is going to be in 20–30 years, which should work as an inspiration for the person to achieve.
"What I always tell Erin is to look 20 years ahead; always start your life by designing your future," she said.
"Start doing what you want now to have a very comfortable future," she further added.
Zaidah Zainal recently joined her daughter Erin Adlina for a special shoot with Sinar Daily.
Erin said that her mother inspired her to be a woman of substance; intelligent and great in general. "I learned a lot from how you coped with life in your younger years, from how independent you could be, and from perseverance in changing your life towards betterment even if you started off as a normal human being too," she said to her mother.
"You're spectacular, you're wonderful, and you have a lot to give, and I really, really hope that Allah will always prolong your life with prosperity and the best health," she further emphasised.
Addressing her daughter as Kak Long, her mother in return said that she inspires her as someone who is so teachable, solehah (pious).
"You are a woman of inspiration and an icon to so many people," she told Erin.
She said that she loves seeing that for herself and that she is the person who is good inside and out. "I pray that you become rich, kind, and noble, successful in the world and the hereafter," she added.
