'The Journey' begins: SVG Worldwide's Spring/Summer 2025 collection highlights Palestinian solidarity
SVG collaborated with several local designers to create a curated line.

The Savage Worldwide (SVG) fashion brand recently reached a milestone through their new Spring/Summer 2025 collection called 'The Journey'.
This is under the execution of its new creative director, Ashraf Anuar who brought 80 new styles that mix different textures, shapes and materials, creating simple yet bold designs.
Beginning their journey in 2017, their brand is now making international headlines, with their new collection marking the beginning of change and creativity. The collection's preview was held from Feb 16 at Starhill, Kuala Lumpur.
They also held a runway on the same day of its launch, successfully gathering 500 attendees.
SVG took a bold step by also incorporating Palestinian solidarity in its design. Advocating for Palestinian freedom and the right to speak up for justice, they collaborated with several local designers to create a curated line.

The designers include Janggutbear, Kenjichai, Fritilldea, Izzatisuza and Baihaqi Ismail.
During the event, Faizal Tahir also made a powerful appearance to perform Assalamualaikum Dunia, which was a song that symbollised peace, unity, and resilience through its lyrics. Other than for entertaining the guests, his performance was claimed as a powerful call for those who believe in justice which aligned with the brand’s message of justice.
“SVG has always been more than just a fashion label. We believe in the power of storytelling through design, and this season, we wanted to use our stage to highlight voices that need to be heard. Fashion is not just about trends—it’s about impact,” said Ashraf.

The initiative was especially emphasised by this year's collections, becoming a movement, using visual art, fashion and culture to not just mesmerise the audience with creativity but also tell stories that matter.
