Ayer Kuning residents laud BN candidate's 'realistic' manifesto
Yusri’s manifesto gains ground with Ayer Kuning voters.

TAPAH - Residents of Ayer Kuning have responded positively to Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Dr Mohamad Yusri Bakir’s manifesto, describing it as realistic, inclusive and capable of being fulfilled within a single term.
Civil servant Nor Hasli Hashim, 39, said all seven pledges align with the needs of the people and are not merely intended to win votes in the upcoming election.

“The people in the Ayer Kuning are mostly farmers and small-scale vegetable growers, so the effort to expand market access for agricultural produce and village products is highly welcomed.
“The agenda to empower youth and promote Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) resonates deeply with young people, especially as Perak is preparing for mega industrial projects,” he said when met in Sungai Kurong on Sunday.
For trader Wan Amirul Abdullah, 31, he is drawn to the Tapah Umno Secretary’s efforts to strengthen the economy and improve people’s living standards.
“To me, the mobile shop programme and Rahmah sales initiative that offer opportunities to local small traders would greatly benefit the community if implemented consistently.
“I hope all the pledges will be carried out properly for the well-being of the people in Ayer Kuning, even within this short period before the General Election (GE),” he said.
Orang Asli youth Hendra Long Shahar, 27, expressed his appreciation for not overlooking the minority community in his manifesto for the Ayer Kuning constituency.
“The pledges involving guidance and facilities in education, healthcare and community cooperative development for the Orang Asli, if implemented, will certainly bring improvements to families and villagers here.
“That is why I will support his efforts and I will return to vote this coming Saturday,” he said.
