Man's 10-year marriage crumbles after discovering wife's affair with doctor

SHAH ALAM - A man’s marriage came to a painful end after he discovered his wife was having an affair with a married doctor.
The moment he confronted them was recorded and shared on Facebook, quickly going viral and attracting strong reactions online.
In his post, the man expressed disbelief that the woman he loved so deeply could be unfaithful, especially after a decade of building a life together.
“I never expected that the person I loved dearly, the one who shared my bed every night, could be unfaithful.
"After ten years of marriage, everything crumbled. Since she began working, I stood by her side from the very beginning. I drove her to work assignments, supported her through long-distance studies for months, listened when she was stressed, helped finish her tasks when she was tired and waited up late into the night for her return.
“I never doubted her because I trusted her. But it turns out, all this time, she was being showered with attention by someone who’s already married.
"A so-called respected professional in the eyes of society, but in truth, nothing more than someone who ruins other people’s homes,” he wrote on Sunday.
His Facebook post received over 31,000 likes and shares, with many expressing sympathy, frustration and disappointment in the comments.
The father of two also shared that, despite the betrayal, he initially tried to salvage the relationship for the sake of their children.
After discovering the affair, he gave his wife a warning and asked her not to repeat her actions.
However, her refusal to change led him to make a firm decision.
He ultimately chose not to continue fighting for the marriage and filed for divorce at the High Court of Malaya in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
“When I first found out, only God knows how shattered I felt. It was like life had lost all meaning. But when I looked at my children, I found the strength to carry on. I gave her a chance and hoped things would improve.
“But when even one chance was wasted, I made up my mind to end it. That marked the end of our ten-year marriage. I chose to move on not because I lost, but because I love myself and my children more,” he added.
