'This world is fake. I have won': Chilling note found on school stabbing suspect

SHAH ALAM – A chilling note believed to have been written by the 14-year-old suspect in the fatal stabbing of his schoolmate at a secondary school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, has revealed the words: “This world is fake. I have won.”

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar confirmed that the note was discovered when officers arrested the suspect, clarifying that it was not found at the scene of the crime.

During a press conference at the Selangor Contingent Police Headquarters on Wednesday, he confirmed that the note was seized together with the suspect during the initial inspection and was not discovered in the toilet where the incident occurred.

He added that the contents of the note were still being investigated.

Shazeli clarified that the investigation was being carried out from all angles, including the background of both the suspect and the victim and that no elements of bullying had been detected in the case so far.

He emphasised that the police viewed the incident seriously and urged cooperation from all sides to safeguard the well-being of students.

“The police take this incident seriously and urge all parties, including schools and the community, to work together to ensure that the safety of students is always protected,” he said.

Earlier, Sinar reported that the 16-year-old victim was believed to have been stabbed to death by a 14-year-old male student at around 9.30am on Tuesday at a secondary school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.
