NQCC launches Asia’s Kids Star initiative to boost art education and cross-border cultural collaboration
The Asia’s Kids Star initiative builds a regional art education ecosystem that connects various institutions, performance platforms and brand resources across the region.

PETALING JAYA - NQ Cultural Commercial Sdn Bhd (NQCC), through the Asia’s Kids Star Brand Collaboration and Mutual Partnership Launch Conference, has opened new opportunities for collaboration between art education institutions and strategic partners from across Malaysia.
The initiative aimed to enhance cultural exchange and develop children’s talents at the Asian level through cross-border education and artistic collaboration.
According to NQCC Chief Executive Officer Dr Mazlan Goh Ahmad Goh, the Asia’s Kids Star initiative builds a regional art education ecosystem that connects various institutions, performance platforms and brand resources across the region.
“Our goal is to provide opportunities for Asian children to showcase their talents and creativity on the international stage,” he said during the launch of Asia’s Kids Star Special TV Programme on Tuesday.
The highlight of the event was the launch of Asia’s Kids Star Special TV Programme, a collaboration between NQCC and Beijing Television, which would feature talented Malaysian children on international television.
“This collaboration not only bridges Malaysia and China in the field of art but also opens new pathways for the nation’s young talents to step onto the global stage,” said Dr. Mazlan Goh.
He further emphasised NQCC’s commitment to expanding the influence of Asia’s Kids Star as a leading platform connecting Asian children’s art to the world, while nurturing a generation of creative, confident and globally competitive youth.
Earlier, Malaysian International Tourism Development Association (MiTDA) President Captain Mahadzir Mansor, in his speech, said that the platform offers Malaysian children a great opportunity to develop their talents in China.
“This is a valuable opportunity, not only to showcase their abilities but also to strengthen cultural exchange and diversity in Malaysia,” he said.
He described the initiative as a catalyst for cultural diplomacy and tourism potential, adding that “the combination of art, culture and education can open new tourism opportunities and add value to Malaysians.”
Also present were MiTDA Vice President Prof Datuk Azli Halim; Green Wellness (M) Sdn Bhd Founder Datin Dorph Peng Wen Yin; Pudding Video Production Studio CEO Vivi Ng; MUSICPRENEUR Education Director Lua Hooi Ching and You Are My Son film director Jimz Lee.
The event also witnessed the signing of several memoranda of understanding (MoU) between NQCC and various art education institutions, including Wuhoo Dance Studio, Vivace Dance Academy, Dreamz Art Academy and others.
Attendees were also given a tour of NQ’s 3D Film Studio, which has been recognised with Malaysia Digital (MD) status by the Malaysian government, showcasing the latest digital production technologies.
