PETALING JAYA - Tension erupted at the Sessions Court, here, when the father of the late Zayn Rayyan, Zaim Ikhwan Zahari shouted "May you be cursed!" after his wife was ordered to be sent to the Kajang Women’s Prison immediately to serve her sentence on Friday.
The outburst from the 30-year-old father was directed at the investigating officer (IO) handling the case involving his autistic son’s death, creating a commotion in the courtroom.
Family members quickly intervened to calm him down before escorting him out of the courtroom for a press conference.
Zaim's mother, who was also visibly emotional, lashed out at the same police officer
"Are you satisfied now, baldy!," she said.
