SHAH ALAM – What started as a regular laundry day turned into a nightmare for a 20-year-old woman in Taman Sri Sentosa, Kuala Lumpur, when she turned around to find a naked man standing inside her apartment and he was not her housemate.
The incident occurred around 3pm on Nov 7 when the woman stepped out to hang her laundry.

Hearing her unit’s grille door open, she assumed it was her housemate, only to turn around and find a naked stranger inside, the New Straits Times reported.
Police said the 27-year-old suspect entered through an unlocked yard area and attacked the woman when she tried to flee.
According to Brickfields district police chief ACP Hoo Chang Hook, the victim suffered injuries to her thigh, lips and hand during the struggle.
“The suspect threatened to kill her while demanding money,” he said, adding that he grabbed her phone when she tried to call for help. The man fled after she refused to give him her password.
Police later arrested him at 7.12pm the same day in the same neighbourhood and recovered three mobile phones, a backpack, laptop and clothing.
Checks revealed he had multiple prior offences involving robbery, theft and drugs.
A urine test also came back positive for cannabis.
“He admitted to committing several robberies and said he did it to cover his daily expenses," Hoo said.
The suspect has been remanded for five days for investigation under Section 394 of the Penal Code for causing hurt while committing robbery.
