Taking to Instagram Stories, the 20-year-old dismissed the rumours by sharing a screenshot of a Daily Mail article.
“Not true. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I,” he wrote.
A "Blocking" Rather Than an "Unfollowing"
Cruz’s statement suggested that David and Victoria were blocked by Brooklyn and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, rather than making a deliberate choice to unfollow them.
This clarification comes amid persistent reports of a strained relationship between Brooklyn, 26, Nicola, 30, and the rest of the Beckham clan.
The divide appeared to deepen earlier this year when both Cruz and Romeo were seen unfollowing the couple on social media, fueling rumours of a growing family fracture.
A Christmas Divided
The family is reportedly set to spend the holiday season apart, with Brooklyn notably absent from the Beckham household’s Christmas celebrations.
Nicola recently hinted that she and Brooklyn would spend Christmas Day with her family in the United States.
On Friday, she shared a photo of Brooklyn alongside her brother, Bradley Peltz, at her family’s £76 million estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
Brooklyn and Nicola have been noticeably absent from several major family milestones this year, including David Beckham’s landmark 50th birthday celebrations and his long-awaited knighthood.
As of now, neither Brooklyn nor Nicola has publicly commented on Cruz’s remarks.
