A TEENAGER in India allegedly avenged his uncle’s death after 18 years by shooting dead the man responsible, Makkal Osai reported.

The victim, a 49-year-old milk trader identified as Imran from the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, was convicted in 2007 and sentenced to life imprisonment for the killing.

He later appealed the verdict and was released on bail in 2017.

Recently, Imran was reportedly at a friend’s shop in a local market when a teenager approached on a motorcycle and shot him multiple times.

Authorities said the man killed in 2007 was the teenager’s uncle, and the boy allegedly carried out the attack to avenge his death.

Shopkeepers nearby rushed Imran to hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival. - THE STAR
