SHAH ALAM – Alamanda Shopping Centre brought festive joy to children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Amal Rukaiyah by hosting a special Raya shopping experience and breaking-of-fast session session as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The programme began with a ‘Baju Raya’ shopping trip at Gene Martino, where the children were given the opportunity to select their own festive outfits. To complete their preparations, Bata also sponsored a new pair of shoes for each child.

Beyond shopping, the children participated in traditional craft activities, including making Mini Wau Bulan and weaving ketupat. The workshop allowed them to experience Malaysian cultural traditions firsthand while enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Browniemunch also contributed to the celebrations by providing cookies and brownies, along with additional duit raya.
