Azmi Goreng Pisang founder’s son killed in Putrajaya hit-and-run
His death was confirmed by his brother-in-law, Mohd Ali Jainneh, in a social media post on Threads today.

SHAH ALAM - Saiful Adli Azmi, the son of the founder behind the well-known Azmi Goreng Pisang business in Shah Alam died at the age of 42 following a hit-and-run incident in Putrajaya.
His death was confirmed by his brother-in-law, Mohd Ali Jainneh, in a social media post on Threads today.
Saiful, who was widely known as Epul among customers and the local community, was said to have died at about midnight.
In the post, Mohd Ali said Saiful had left his family and loved ones after being involved in an accident.
“My brother-in-law, better known as Epul of Azmi Goreng Pisang, has left us.
"May Allah forgive his past sins, accept all his good deeds, make his grave spacious and full of light as well as place him in paradise among the believers,” he said.
Mohd Ali also called on friends, customers and members of the public who knew Saiful or supported the Azmi Goreng Pisang business to recite prayers for him.
Saiful was part of the family behind Azmi Goreng Pisang, a popular local brand known for its fried banana fritters and a familiar name among snack lovers.
At press time, further details regarding the hit-and-run incident were not available.
