Azam Baki gives two-hour statement to Bukit Aman CID over threat claims
He denied all allegations made by Tei.

KUALA LUMPUR - Former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief Tan Sri Azam Baki appeared at Bukit Aman police headquarters here on Wednesday to give a statement over threat allegations made against him by businessman Albert Tei.
Azam said he arrived at around 9am and cooperated fully with investigating officers.
"The process of recording the statement took about two hours, during which I answered questions posed by investigating officers from the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID)," he said when contacted on Wednesday.
Azam said he denied all allegations made by Tei.
He also informed police that he had never met the businessman nor conducted any dealings with him.
"I have never sent a lawyer to meet with any party representing me.
"I also presented evidence to the investigating officers that I have never met or dealt directly with Albert," he said.
Police had recently announced they would be summoning Azam in due course to assist in the investigation into Tei's claims that he had been threatened.
Bukit Aman CID director Datuk M Kumar was reported as saying the report was lodged by Tei on May 13.
Kumar said the investigation is being conducted under Section 506 of the Penal Code, and that the investigation papers will be referred to the Attorney General's Chambers in due course for further direction and advice.
