SHAH ALAM – A last-minute decision to join a tournament turned into a dream run for a mother of three, who emerged champion at the Beyblade G1 Qualifier Tournament in Singapore.
The woman, known as Ifah clinched first place at the G1 Singapore Qualifiers Day 1 (Batch 4) on July 8, defeating her opponent with a 4-0 victory to secure her spot as a G1 finalist.
According to BeyDojo’s official account, Ifah had not even planned to compete and only decided to participate at the very last moment.
“She just walked in on a whim. Then somehow that last-minute decision turned into the run of the day.
“She ran the gauntlet, took on the competition and fought her way all the way to the top,” it said.
The community celebrated her unexpected victory, with many praising her determination and skill throughout the competition.
Beyblade fans also highlighted the achievement of Ifah’s family, after her son Yusuf recently won the G1 Singapore Regular Class tournament.
The back-to-back victories by the mother-and-son duo drew admiration from the community, with many describing their achievements as a “like mother, like son” moment.
BeyDojo, a community-driven Beyblade X club based in Bukit Panjang, brings together bladers of all ages to compete, experiment and enjoy the hobby.
The club regularly hosts battles and events, providing a platform for both new and experienced players to test their skills.
