Mother, two sons killed in house fire

KLUANG - Three members of a family were found dead after being trapped in a house fire in Taman Titiwangsa here on Wednesday night.

In the incident reported at 10.44pm, the victims, Noraini Ibrahim, 49, along with her two sons, Khairul Nurhaziq Khairul Nizam, 18, and Khairul Nurhadiff, 11, were found in a room.

Senior Operations Commander, Senior Assistant Fire Superintendent Mohd Fauzi Md Nor said a team of personnel and officers along with machinery were rushed to the scene.

He said the first fire engine arrived at the location at 10.49pm and immediately began firefighting operations.

In the incident reported at 10.44pm, the victims, Noraini Ibrahim, 49, along with her two sons, Khairul Nurhaziq Khairul Nizam, 18, and Khairul Nurhadiff, 11, were found in a room.

"Upon the arrival of the Operations Response Team (PKO) at the scene, a double-storey terrace house was found on fire with damage estimated at 50 per cent.

"All three victims were pronounced dead by an officer from the Ministry of Health Malaysia," he said.

He said all the victims were taken to Enche Besar Hajjah Kalsom Hospital for further action.
