SHAH ALAM — redONE Mobile has teamed up with CleanXpert Sdn Bhd, the operator of dry washing helmet service kiosk Mr Helmet, in a strategic partnership designed to bring affordable and accessible helmet care closer to the riding community across Malaysia.
redONE Mobile Group chief sales officer at Ben Teh emphasised the practical nature of the collaboration.
To him, supporting customers means understanding the realities of their everyday lives.
"Riders are an important part of the communities we serve and this partnership allows us to offer them something practical beyond connectivity.
"It also creates opportunities for our partner network to bring more value to the communities around them," he said.
Echoing this sentiment, CleanXpert Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Razalee Yahya highlighted the long-term vision of the project.
For Mr Helmet, he said the partnership was about creating greater access to proper helmet care while laying the foundation for a much broader rider ecosystem.
He said the focus was to connect riders with relevant services, brands and businesses through technology and strategic partnerships.
"Working with redONE Mobile gives us the opportunity to take this vision further and develop new solutions that can support riders both on the road and in their daily lives," he said.
Under this collaboration, automated helmet sanitisation machines are being rolled out across 18 redONE Mobile premier stores spanning seven states in Peninsular Malaysia, which include Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Melaka and Johor.
Helmets remain an indispensable part of daily life for countless Malaysians who rely on them for work, daily commutes and running errands.
Maintaining clean headgear is especially vital for gig economy workers, such as delivery riders who spend extended hours on the road transporting food, parcels and groceries.
To ease financial burdens, basic helmet sanitisation is priced at an accessible RM7 per session, while a thorough VIP cleaning costs RM10 and a quick-drying service for damp interiors is available for just RM2.
These automated machines operate 24 hours a day, giving riders the flexibility to care for their helmets whenever it best fits their demanding schedules.
Beyond cleaning, the alliance enriches the perks tied to redONE Mobile's dedicated redplanKM48 postpaid plan, which is tailored specifically for e-hailing and p-hailing drivers.
Alongside an existing RM120 petrol voucher, subscribers will now receive a one-year Mr Helmet membership that includes one complimentary VIP cleaning voucher every month for twelve consecutive months, amounting to RM120 in total savings.
Moving forward, both companies intend to leverage their respective strengths to expand touchpoints and deliver meaningful benefits that address the evolving needs of Malaysian consumers.
