A loud blast heard early on Thursday morning is believed to have been caused by gunshots fired outside an entertainment outlet in Melaka Raya.

Several photographs showing an individual believed to be a man who was shot dead circulated on social media.

A loud banging sound initially thought to be a motorcycle exhaust turned out to be gunfire in an incident that claimed the life of a man at a fast-food restaurant here on Sunday.
