Police have arrested a man for allegedly committing sexual harassment at a supermarket in Gerik yesterday.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa.

The man, identified as Muhammad Hassan, 24, is facing several charges, including under Sections 377C (intercourse against the order of nature) and 392 (robbery) of the Penal Code, as well as immigration-related offences.

The media had previously reported that investigations against the independent preacher in connection with his statement at the gathering on Feb 7 had been referred to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC).
