Anwar has proposed for the SMART team involved in search and rescue operation for victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the country last week, killing thousands and displacing millions. - BERNAMA

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim taking a first-hand look at the aftermath of earthquake during his visit to the Malaysian Rescue Operation Centre in Nurdagi, Wednesday. A total of 140 personnel of SMART team, Firemen and Rescuers and Malaysian Civil Defence Force are involved in the earthquake rescue mission in southern Turkiye. The 7.8 Richter scale earthquake hit Kahramanmaras, southern region of Turkiye last Monday also affected several areas in Syria.- BERNAMA
