The owner of the blue Perodua Myvi involved in a fatal drunk driving incident along Jalan Raya Barat has spoken out against racial comments on social media, saying the tragedy should not be seen as a racial issue but as a loss of life.

In the incident at about 11.40am on Sunday, Amirul Hafiz Omar was killed after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a car driven by a man along Jalan Raya Barat.

A social media user on X identified as @iamjoelee shared updates highlighting the plight of a neighbour whose vehicle was severely damaged in the collision.
