The matter was announced by the head of the Malaysian haj delegation, Datuk Seri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman, and was also reported by the local media, including the Saudi Gazette, which quoted the country's Supreme Court statement. - FILE PIX

Head of the Malaysian Haj Delegation, Datuk Seri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman said Tabung Haji (TH) appointed 315 Sahabat Maktab volunteers this time, but received twice as many applications from potential pilgrims to participate in the programme that has been in place since 2006. - Tabung Haji
