The man believed to have slit his wife's throat, resulting in her death, before attempting to set his in-laws' house on fire has been remanded for seven days by the Tangkak Magistrate’s Court today.

Police are tracking down a 25-year-old man for allegedly setting fire to his wife's car at Jalan Tebrau here yesterday.

The shocking incident gained widespread attention when a video showing the bloodied remains of the cats went viral on social media.
