SAR team carrying the body of five-year-old Muhammad Aniq Faiz, who was found caught in bamboo along the Tamparuli riverbank.

On Sunday, the child, identified as Muhd Aniq, a five-year-old boy with autism was reported missing after his family members realised he was no longer inside the house.

Search and rescue (SAR) personnel, along with villagers, waded through 0.6 metres of water before discovering the lifeless body of 19-month-old Hud Aryan Mohd Nor Hafifi.

The body was earlier brought from the Forensic Unit of the Tanah Merah Hospital to the Mukim Kuala Tiga Mosque at 1am for the funeral prayer. - Bernama photo

Hud Aryan was reported missing on Monday.

Authorities, including the police and fire department, have been actively involved in the search and rescue (SAR) operations, with assistance from the local community.
