Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia Associate Professor Abdul Rahim Zumrah says if four working days a week does not affect the organisation's projections or targets, then it could be considered.

MEF President Datuk Syed Hussain Syed Husman says the centre will allow the ministry to get all requirements approved instead of going through cross-ministerial involvements, causing delays and costs to apply for foreign workforce. 

The researchers believe remote working may help Malaysia, at least to some extent, to fill in those hard-to-fill vacancies by TalentCorp.

Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M Saravanan said the ministry has approved a foreign worker quota of 200,000 for five major sectors in the country.
