For now, the theme park is able to accommodate up to 10,000 visitors as opposed to its original 20,000 due to Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Genting SkyWorlds will take guests on a sky-high adventure through nine movie and adventure-inspired themed worlds such as Eagle Mountain, Central Park, Liberty Lane, Robots Rivet Town, Andromeda Base, Ice Age, Studio Plaza, Epic, and Rio.

However, the theme park is not just limited to rides and attractions, it also includes an exciting mix of live entertainment, retail and dining experiences alongside immersive theming, emotive music and high-tech lighting, all of which creates a world of imagination.

One of the more futuristic rides at Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is the ESD Global Defender, where visitors will get to board a hybrid aerospace fighter plane set inside a 4D theatre.

Among the many rides offered at the theme park, the ESD Global Defender tops the list so far.

At Andromeda Base, adrenaline junkies can look forward to an intergalactic Solero Shot called Terraform Tower Challenge, which offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the theme park.

The theme park offers family-family rides and a range of attractions for the adrenaline junkies too.

Some attractions are currently undergoing the final commissioning process and remain unavailable to the guests, one of which is the world’s first dual-powered coaster bike ride called Mad Ramp Peak - Full Throttle Racing, which takes visitors through a circuit that weaves through the peaks and ravines of the mountain landscape.

Fret not, there are family-friendly rides available for children to enjoy such as the double-decker Blue Sky Carousel, Rio Carnaval Chaos! Teacups ride and the Samba Gliders, which climbs over 65 feet, enough to see every corner of the Rio-themed side of the park.

Other attractions that await visitors are the Rio Centro Stage, where visitors get to shimmy away with Samba Urbana dancers and the Central Park: Lake of Dreams where visitors can unwind with their loved ones.

Visitors are highly encouraged to download the Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park mobile app because it works like a comprehensive guide, but with real-time information.

Using the app, visitors will be able to check waiting times for rides, attractions and shows as well as redeem promotional offers.

The app is also integrated with the park’s Virtual Queue (VQ) technology, a feature that works to reduce long waits in physical lines, allowing visitors to bypass unnecessary queueing.

During the soft opening period until March 31, complimentary access to VQ and Photo+ will be available for visitors to download and share unlimited digital photos.

Admission tickets are priced between RM128 and RM151 during the soft opening period compared to the usual rate of between RM161 and RM189.

Toddlers under 90cm tall on the other hand, may enter the theme park for free.

In the coming months, more rides will be ready for the public, so do look out for announcements.
