SHAH ALAM - The chanting of reformasi said it all.

Newly elected PKR Youth leader Adam Adli received overwhelming support from members while giving his maiden speech at PKR Congress today.

He thanked the previous Youth leaders - Akmal Nasir and Ahmad Syukri Razak for paving the way for new PKR youth leadership.

Adam known to be a vocal activist is not new to the political scene.

In 2010, he was actively involved in demonstrations during his university years, leading a student movement to hold protest infront of the national mosque.

Today he also spoke about the speeches from the state representative during the PKR Youth Congress.

“From morning to evening, we have heard speeches from others and we need to take these messages into account in order to propel us forward.

“We should be united and forgive each other because there is a mountain of challenges coming for us,” he said during the PKR Youth Congress held at IDCC Shah Alam, Selangor.

Some of the concerns raised were the big tent concept, using party for personal reasons and encouraging and empowering more youths and women to leadership roles.

He called on the party to focus on young voters who are significant for their party to face the 15th general election (GE15).

He also advised party leaders to manage differences well and every voice, differences should be celebrated and not divide the party.
