Decision on Tajuddin's indecent remark to be known tomorrow, says House speaker

Dewan Rakyat Deputy President Datuk Rashid Hasnon said his officers are still looking into the letter sent by opposition MPs.
"I have received the letter and Speaker (Tan Sri Azhar Azizan Harun) has asked me to handle it. I have just received the letter and currently processing it.
"Some of the witnesses were called and I will make a conclusion and will give an answer latest by tomorrow ," he said while replying to a question by Kasthuriraani Patto (PH-Batu Kawan).
Kasthuriraani had asked if Rashid was serious into looking at the accusation raised by the opposition.
"I sent the letter asking the Speaker to call on the Pasir Salak MP to apologise and withdraw the use of profanities in the Dewan Rakyat.
"I'm shocked by the indecent and unacceptable behaviour of any Parliament member.
"The Speaker had let go of Pasir Salak (Tajuddin) just like that. I am disappointed by the decision made and the nine MPs who witnessed Pasir Salak (Tajuddin) uttering obscene words while his microphone was off. It does not matter if the microphone was on or off, it has happened," she said.
She said it is it has happened before. "If the Speaker does not use the position to take a decisive action against Pasir Salak (Tajuddin), it will be a bad example in history," he said.
On Thursday, Azhar Azizan was reported saying the Dewan Rakyat was looking into the matter before making any resolution towards Tajuddin that allegedly said abusive and obscene remarks during the sitting.
During Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill, Tajuddin claimed female DAP MPs are ‘vulgar’, causing an uproar among the MPs. The incident took place after he and two other government MPs were called out for being sexist for making statements about women elected representatives in the Dewan Rakyat. Tajuddin went on to claim that those calling him out was only doing it to make them look bad.
