SHAH ALAM - The condition of Ainul Mardhiah Ahmad Safiuddin, who previously suffered from a rare form of cancer known as germ cell tumour is deteriorating after she experienced recurring seizures since Monday.

Her father, Ahmad Safiuddin Ahmad Razak said his daughter’s condition was quite severe and that it was the first time that Ainul Mardhiah had a seizure which happened four to five times in less than 12 hours.

"Ainul looks very different now. She has been sick many times before, but I see that she still has the energy to fight despite being given sleeping pills," he said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

On Monday, it was reported that Ainul Mardhiah was being put in an induced coma after she was believed to have contracted a bacterial infection since last Friday.

"Only her eyes can moved. Her body is not moving.

"I have cried so hard since she had the seizure at midnight last night. I could not describe how I feel right now," he said.

He said the doctors were still trying to treat Ainul Mardhiah and asked the public to pray for the best.

“I leave it to Allah, but i am still hoping for a miracle.
