PAPAR – The Parti Solidarity Tanah Airku (Sabah) is ready for various possibilities following the nation’s political scenario including future clashes with other parties in the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15).

Its president Datuk Seri Dr Jeffry Kitingan said the party had a lot of options to contest in whichever seats that could be won.

“I heard they (other parties) are doing it (contesting for all seats) but we have a lot of options, if one option does not work out, we will take another option.

“We are also seeing what is happening in the peninsular because the political parties there are not strong, if their highest leadership decides to collide, then it is also possible for collisions to happen in Sabah,” he told reporters after the mass admission council of Star members in Kinarut, here, on Thursday evening.

When asked to comment on his targeted seats to contest, Jeffry, who was also the Deputy Chairman of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) said there was no doubt that Star wanted to compete in all areas however it was impossible to do so as they have partners within the coalition.

“We want to contest all if we could. But of course, we are in a coalition so there needs to be a division.

“How many seats we get, we will make sure to win that seat,” he said.

Jeffrey had earlier informed around 1,000 members from various parties have joined Star representing Papar.
