SHAH ALAM – Barisan Nasional will focus on tree Ws (3Ws) to prepare the machinery to win in the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15), Umno deputy president says.

Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, also known as Tok Mat, said the 3Ws were ‘winning mentality’, ‘winning strategy’ and ‘winning move’.

“Winning mentality is important as we need to have the mentality to win. I cannot deny that the spirit of the party’s machinery in the eight states that I visited recently is very high.

“In Terengganu, their machinery in Kijal was about 5,000 people, same goes to other states such as Perlis, Kedah, Pulau Pinang and Kelantan,” he said at the 2022 Wanita Umno Convention at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) today.

As for winning strategy, he said in order to go for a fight, a strategy and tactics were needed.

“We can see that there are a lot of strategies from the party and all these strategies must be done well according to the suitability of different states.

“(Meanwhile) The third W, which is the ‘winning move’, the strategies that have been well developed should be executed with focus and integrated,” he said.

He said the initiative should be implemented as soon as possible as GE15 would be held in the near future.

“We have no choice in facing the time crisis unless we have a rapid action so that we will not abandon the things that we need to work on,” he added.

He said the most important thing to focus on for the GE15 was the readiness of BN machinery and to rise again to gain people’s confidence.

Mohamad pointed out that four years of GE14, the country was surrounded with political turmoil which led investors to stay away from getting into business with Malaysia due to the instability.

“The people must choose a party that has a good track record and the only party that has that is BN

“For 22 months under the leadership of PH, it is like “all talk, no action,”he said.

Mohamad added that BN must step in to revive the political stability and ensure the nation’s prosperity
