Don't blame the 12 PN ministers – Dr M

SHAH ALAM - Pejuang Chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad asks caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob not to blame the 12 Perikatan Nasional ministers for his decision to dissolve the Parliament.
Dr Mahathir or better known as Tun M asserted that although Ismail Sabri had the right to make his own decisions, but in a coalition government, the component parties had the right to give their views.
He said the knowledge and consent of the component parties should be taken into account.
"Oh PM (Prime Minister). Don't blame the 12 National Alliance ministers," he said in a post on his Facebook on Thursday.
Tun M explained that the truth was that Umno wanted the General Election (GE) to be held immediately.
"It is true that Umno wants an early general election. Ignore the floods.
“The important thing is that Umno wins and the criminals avoid immediate punishment," he quipped.
It was reported that Ismail Sabri said the decision to dissolve Parliament was made following 12 ministers displaying inappropriate gesture, and sent official letters to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Therefore, Ismail Sabri insisted the dissolution aimed to prevent disharmony in the government administration.
