KUANTAN - The Home Ministry is investigating claims on the entry of Israeli intelligence agents, Mossad, who allegedly kidnapped a Palestinian citizen as published in a local newspaper on Tuesday.

Its caretaker minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said that this was to enable further action to be taken if there was indeed an entry of intelligence agents involved.

"We will monitor and if we think it is time to arrest them, we will take appropriate action," he said.

Hamzah said this when asked to comment on a local newspaper report that claimed Israeli intelligence had entered the country in their efforts to locate and kidnap two Palestinian men they believed to be assets of the Hamas al-Qassam Brigades.

The newspaper also reported the actions of the intelligence agents who had adjusted their tactics to not leave traces of their involvement and were believed to have recruited local assets to help the Zionist regime hunt down Hamas members in Malaysia.

He explained that the government always examined and monitored every document for the entry of foreigners into the country.

He added if there were any foreigners who entered the country without valid documents, action would be taken.

"Anyone who enters our country, they must have valid documents.
