GE15: Umno to have two important meetings on Sunday

SHAH ALAM - Umno has scheduled two important meetings on Sunday.

The matter was informed by the Umno Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan through his official Facebook on Saturday.

He said the Umno Political Bureau Special Meeting including the State Relations Chairman would be held at noon at Level 38 of Menara Dato Onn, World Trade Centre (WTC).

The Umno Supreme Working Council (MKT) meeting was scheduled at 3pm on Level 39 of the WTC.

"The two important meetings that must be attended are the UMNO Political Bureau Meeting (including the State Relations Chairman) and the UMNO MKT Meeting.

"Thank you all for coming," he said.

The meeting was likely to be for the discussion of the 15th General Election (GE15) results that were seen as not siding with BN.

At 1am on Sunday, the Election Commission (EC) recorded Pakatan Harapan (PH) leading with more Parliamentary seats, followed by Perikatan Nasional (PN) compared to BN.

However, a few BN candidates successfully defended the seats won by them in the GE14.

Among them were Ahmad Maslan in Pontian Parliament, Umno Vice President Datuk Seri Mohamed Khalid Norden (Kota Tinggi), former Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Hasni Mohammad (Simpang Renggam) and Datuk Seri Azalina Othman (Pengerang).
