ALOR SETAR – Kedah Perikatan Nasional (PN) is confident of winning 33 out of 36 State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seats in the upcoming State Election expected to be held no later than this July.

Its chairman Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said the confidence was based on the performance achieved by PN in the last 15th General Election (GE15).

He said even if Pakatan Harapan (PH) would join Barisan Nasional (BN) in the state election, it would not undermine the PN's performance at all.

"Just like at the federal level, PH will cooperate with BN at the state level.

"If PH's vote mixed with BN’s, they can only win three seats – Kota Darul Aman, Bakar Arang and Sidam," he said during a press conference today.

Sanusi, who is also the Pas Election Director said that the momentum of the party was encouraging and increasing day by day.

"The momentum will always increase, it will not fade at all, we also do the best job we can," he said.
