PN welcomes Annuar with open arms, says Hadi

KUALA LUMPUR - Perikatan Nasional (PN) is open to welcome former Umno veteran and Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang described the former communications and multimedia minister as an authoritative leader.

"We welcome someone who is authoritative, capable of making their own decisions and able to read the political landscape," he said in a press conference after the Ulama State Dialogue Programme to mard with Hadi's Fiqh Siasah Book launch, here.

Annuar on Monday said he is prepared to join a political party that aligns with his beliefs after he was sacked from Umno.

He said he has been observing the country's political landscape after he was sacked from his party on Jan 28.

Hadi said PN post-15th general election (GE15) showed positive development, adding that they are happy to take part of Perlis.

"Now we march towards Pahang and Perak.

"When Umno acts recklessly towards its own leadership positive developments will occur," he said.
