Unofficial results: Noraini wins Wanita Umno seat against Shahrizat

SHAH ALAM: MELAKA - After a tough battle between the two candidates for Wanita Umno chief seat, incumbent Datuk Noraini Ahmad has won.

In a Facebook post, Noraini took the opportunity to thank her Wanita Umno members for their votes.

"Infinite thanks to all Wanita Umno and friends #SusahSenangBersama for their support and trust in me as Wanita Umno chief.

"Come on, together we will continue to empowerment Women to higher levels," she said in a through her official Facebook post.

Noranini in a neck-and-neck battle with her opponent Tan Sri Shahrizat Jalil had make a return to contest for the Wanita Umno president after a four-year political sabbitical.
